Sometimes a film pops up in the cinematic landscape that has little to do with the rest.
Forget the plots and twists you are used to, the almost predictable mode of narration, and the storytelling speed (yes, it is slow, but its slowness is functional).
Forget everything else and watch this dark, fierce, dreamlike, sarcastic, thought-provoking film set in a magnificent London/decadent Meanwhile City.
And then let me know if you don’t like it.
I will wait and watch it.
