5000 times thank you

I wanted to write a post about the Italian postal service and the fact that they are shamelessly profiteering on public data, i.e. postcodes. But someone beat me to it, noting that the sold CDs are only compatible with Windows systems. The good thing is that the system we are setting up at work has at least a few features based precisely on the CAPs mentioned above, and since we are in the testing period, it would be good to have the new CAPs now, not in a month.
So, who explains to my company that spending EUR 5,000 plus VAT would be necessary?
Because the delirium of this whole thing is that not only are there 2400 hamlets but that ‘about 10 per cent of the roads take on a different postcode’, i.e. for those 79 municipalities that have changed, there is no single postcode but only the postcode linked to the area.
Delusional.

I forgot: today’s winner in the category of arms stolen from agriculture is Andrea Colasio.
