Sometimes, the case

I left to go to a service centre to have my mobile phone repaired.
Behind my house, there’s a shop that sells mobile phones like mine, and out of curiosity, I went in to ask if they did repairs, unconvinced by the fact that on my operator’s site there are the addresses of all the centres and that one didn’t show up.
They confirmed that they do not do repairs, but they gave me the address of a centre, which was not on the site, that was relatively close.
I went to see it, and it was open (most service centres are closed on Saturdays, much to the joy of workers), and they confirmed that they would repair my phone.
Chatting with the friendly person doing the check-in, I told her that the phone could be reset safely since I had already backed up my data. She replied that repairers also checked the software, which was a good thing. I replied that I knew this because I had worked for a mobile phone repair company. When I told her the name, she said: we are part of this company. And she showed me the acceptance sheet with the company name. She was using the information system I had set up for them with a colleague.
The funny thing is that I could have sworn that I would never be able to take a mobile phone to them for repair, but instead.
Sometimes, chance.

Now I hope it is repairable; otherwise, as I know it is their custom, it goes back to me and luckily, I don’t have to pay shipping costs. My fingers are crossed.
